Training for trainers: Introduction to Development Education

The first training for trainers within the 'Getting to Know!' project took place on April 11. Trainers Samuel Harris and Martina Lordan introduced members of the project consortium team in Development Education and related topics. The training touched upon the following topics: state and organization of Development Educaiton in the UK, Ireland and Poloand, an overview of the Millennium Development Goals, the Human Development Index, as well as a survey of useful publications and audio-visual aids, suitable for introducing Development Education in schools.
